Mechanical Design Engineer
We're growing fast and need a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join the team. You'll work across a range of sectors, both client side and for contractors on design and build projects. You'll take schemes from early concept and feasibility right through to detailed design.

What you'll design
- Low temperature hot water heating systems
- Domestic hot and cold water services
- Mechanical and natural ventilation
- Refrigerant and chilled water cooling systems
- Low and zero carbon technologies
- Above ground drainage
What you'll do
- Site surveys, condition surveys and technical investigations
- Feasibility studies
- Design drawings in AutoCAD
- Design calculations using industry software
- Specifications, equipment schedules and technical submissions
- Project management and contract administration
What we're looking for
- Competency with AutoCAD (essential)
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Confident working on your own and as part of a design team
- Strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver quality work
- IT literate and skilled in Microsoft Office
