Mike is a co-founder of Salvis and leads engineering and design services. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, 20 years of which in the field of building services engineering, and has worked on design projects in most market sectors, but particularly in education and healthcare. Mike has designed and delivered mechanical building services systems for condition-based projects, refurbishment projects and new build projects across both the public and private sectors.

Mike has a Master's degree in building services engineering and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM).

Mike is a keen musician and plays the guitar in a band.

Alan is a co-founder of Salvis and leads energy management services, including net zero strategies, energy audits, feasibility studies, decarbonisation plans, data analysis and securing funding. He has over 20 years of experience working in the public and private sectors, where he was responsible for estate-wide energy and water management and identifying financial savings that could be made through energy efficiency projects, power generation and effective management of corporate energy and water contracts.

Alan works closely with clients to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs while improving the occupants' environmental conditions.

Alan holds a degree in Sustainable Design and Environmental Management and is a Chartered Energy Manager, Committee Member and Full Member of the Energy Institute.

In his spare time, Alan likes going on adventures with his family and attending gigs.

Dave started his career as a Trainee Electrical Technician in 2002, where he combined on-the-job learning with day-release education and went from gaining an HNC to graduating with a degree in Building Services Engineering from London Southbank University in 2008.

Dave has continued in design and progressed to Senior Electrical Design Engineer working for Local Authorities and Design Consultancies in Hampshire.

Dave has experience in many properties, such as historic monuments, residential buildings, schools, offices, warehouses, and hospitals, from large refurbishments and extensions to new builds. Dave has led various projects, including a full electrical design for new builds, lighting designs, UPS, increased electrical capacity, conditions surveys, switchboard replacement and renewable technologies.

Dave is comfortable leading electrical projects from concept through to completion or working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and enjoys the challenges each new project brings.

In his spare time, Dave is an avid golfer who loves to be outdoors in the countryside.

Jamie started his engineering career completing a craft electrical apprenticeship back in 2000, he then went on to work as a qualified electrical fitter for a local authority carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs. Jamie's experience and passion for engineering allowed him to make the transition into an office role where he managed the electrical servicing and MTC contract for a large city council while returning to college to complete his HNC in electrical engineering.

Jamie joined their electrical design team in 2012 and continued to develop within the role working with architects, building surveyors and mechanical engineers providing electrical designs for new builds and refurbishments of schools, offices, residential homes, leisure sites, and historic monuments.

Jamie has been involved with several iconic building's architectural lighting projects, which includes leading on the replacement of the external lighting on the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth. Jamie has experience with HV transformers, switches, switchboards, generators, UPS and renewable technology projects and enjoys the challenges and learning about new technology.

In his spare time Jamie enjoys playing football and socialising with friends and family.

Tracy is an experienced Business Manager specialising in project delivery, administration, and financial management. With a proven ability to oversee complex projects from planning through to completion, she ensures that timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively aligned to achieve business objectives.

Her expertise in implementing robust financial controls, managing budgets, and optimising administrative processes drives operational efficiency and delivers cost savings. Tracy combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, streamlining workflows and introducing best practices that enhance productivity across all functions.

Dedicated to delivering results, Tracy brings clarity, structure, and commercial insight to every project, ensuring sustainable success for the clients she supports.

Agata joined our team last year and has over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering. She has previously worked in other consultancies, where she gained a wealth of experience in a variety of sectors. Her design experience includes luxury residential, schools, sports halls, and hospitals. She has developed detailed design packages for the private and public sectors from the very beginning to project completion on-site.

Agata has a strong understanding of the principles behind the effective and efficient HVAC design accommodating latest trends and developments from the mechanical industry. Her exposure to multimillion pound residential projects in London and keen interest in architecture/interior design developed a great skill of discreetly integrating all visual aspects of mechanical services.

Agata is a Senior Design Engineer and as a team player she is always happy to help, and with her problem-solving skills she is a real benefit to the team.

In her spare time, she is a passionate horse rider with many achievements, proving her dedication and hard-working skills she inputs into everything she does.

Matthew joined the Salvis Team in 2020 with 15 years of experience as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer. He has led many projects, from the Initial Feasibility Study through Technical Design and Construction to Practical Completion and the End of the Defect Period.

Matthew has experience with both D&B projects (both Contractor and client sides) and Design Responsibility as part of a Construction Design Team, as well as Contract Administration and Principal Designer roles for mechanical-only projects.

Matthew has a passion for sustainable design, providing the correct technical solution for a project, and ensuring that the client gets good value for their construction project.

Away from the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, watching motorsports and playing guitar.

Katerina is an experienced mechanical design engineer in a wide variety of sectors, from luxury residential schemes, student accommodation, care homes, hospitals, health care, commercial, schools and sports halls.

Katerina's competence in energy modelling and strategies, low and zero-carbon technologies, overheating assessments, SAP / SBEM calculations, planning requirements, and BREEAM goals allows her to be involved from the early stages of a project to its completion.

In her spare time, Katerina enjoys DIY projects, walks in the countryside, reads, cooks, and travels.

Jake is a recent graduate and joined Salvis in April 2024 to work as a Sustainable Consultant. He graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a First Class degree in Architecture and Environmental Engineering and has a passion for sustainability within the built environment.

He enjoyed the more practical side of his degree, which is why he enjoys the work he does at Salvis so much. What he enjoyed most about his degree was actively helping and offering guidance on how buildings can decarbonise and lower energy consumption. He is excited to learn even more and put this knowledge into practice.

Jake is an active tennis player and used to coach whilst at college. Jake loves to cook and he is also a season ticket holder at Southampton's Saint Mary's.

Colin brings over two decades of expertise in Mechanical and Electrical design, delivering reliable, high-quality solutions with a particular specialism in public sector projects. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Trimble ProDesign, and advanced lighting and cable calculation software, he has successfully managed and delivered major upgrades, including LED lighting programmes, emergency lighting systems, and warden call installations.

Colin's hands-on approach ensures projects run smoothly from design through to completion, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and energy efficiency. His expertise spans electrical systems design, condition surveys, and project management, making him a valuable asset on complex engineering projects.

Clients value Colin's practical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering cost-effective, sustainable solutions tailored to their needs.

Outside of work, Colin enjoys spending time with his family and baby daughter, playing guitar in bands, attending live gigs, and pursuing his keen interest in the history of the Second World War and military aviation.

Nonso is a dedicated Sustainability Consultant at Salvis with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and sustainable buildings. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Covenant University, Nigeria, and a master's in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton, graduating with distinction. Nonso has contributed to numerous high-impact projects focused on energy efficiency and decarbonisation strategies, helping clients achieve net zero goals and secure funding. Proficient in software tools like PV*SOL and various data analysis platforms, he delivers data-driven solutions that optimise energy efficiency.

Before Salvis, Nonso worked as a Project Engineer in Nigeria's oil and gas sector, where he successfully managed complex projects under challenging conditions. Beyond work, he is committed to community engagement and continuous learning, mentoring students, and participating in sustainability initiatives.

In his free time, Nonso enjoys cycling, kayaking, and bird watching, although he is still learning to identify different species.
